Inspired by Sting’s own childhood in the shipbuilding town of Wallsend, UK, The Last Ship is a powerful tribute to the working-class spirit. The story follows Jackie White (played by Sting), a shipyard foreman facing the demise of the industry that has defined his community for generations.

Astronaut Ryland Grace awakens on a spacecraft with no memory of himself or his mission. He slowly deduces he is the sole survivor of a crew sent to the Tau Ceti solar system in search of a solution to a catastrophic event on Earth.
